About UsThe Mission Valley United Methodist Church is a young congregation (thirteen years old) and has been offering ministry from her present location since 2007. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.. Our vision is to be a community where everyone comes to believe, finds a place to belong, becomes who God wants them to be, and works for Jesus to make the world a better place. We are one of many local churches all over the world that comprise The United Methodist Church. The United Methodist Church was formed when the Methodist Church and the Evangelical United Brethren Church merged in 1968. But we trace our heritage back to the movement begun in 1729 in England by John and Charles Wesley. Find out more about our history. And while the United Methodist Church is worldwide in scope, and our history is varied and colorful, we believe most of all believe that God placed us here in the beautiful Mission Valley to offer grace, hope, and love. |

Our History
|
The Mission Valley United Methodist Church rose from the ashes of three local churches that chose to die. As Jesus said, "unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain; but if it dies, it bears much fruit." (John 12:24) Our experience is that Jesus spoke the truth. We have been growing, vital, and alive since day one, and look forward to many years of service and ministry here in the Mission Valley
