Music Program and Choir

The Mission Valley United Methodist Church Choir is a light-hearted, congenial group of folks who love music and love the Lord. 

 

 

We meet each week on Thursday evenings for a hour or so to prepare a musical offering for the weekly worship service. None of us are professional musicians, nor do we have extensive choral backgrounds, but we learn together to "make a joyful noise" to praise God.

 

We like to sing a variety of types of music; many with a contemporary flair and often are accompanied by a CD for full orchestration.   We sing three of four Sundays each month and present a special Christmas program in December.

 

If you like music and would like to be part of a great group of folks, you are encouraged to join us. We are not great singers, nor do we all read music, but we have fun and learn together.
